"Bundle of Trouble" Review

I love cozy mysteries- they're the perfect kind of book to curl up with on a cool winters day. I was busy this week, and I found this was an easy book to pick up and read for awhile and come back to a few hours later, or even a day or two later.

This  cozy mystery is about a new mother Kate, a woman going through all of the highs and lows of being a new mother. However, she also has to deal with the nasty discovery of her brother-in-law's bags being discovered near a dead man pulled from the San Francisco Bay. With baby in tow, Kate sets about trying to figure out what those bags were doing there, and how her brother-in-law may be involved.

Orgain does a fantastic job of relating the stresses and daily worries about being a mother as well as building a great suspenseful read. I love the character of Kate,  she's a delight to read about.

Part of the fun of reading mysteries for me is trying to figure out "Whodunit."  This book is a good read, so if you are like me and like to guess "whodunit" you should  enjoy this book. This is the first book I've read by Diana Orgain, but, it won't be the last. This book is the first in the three book series "A Maternal Instincts Mystery." I will be reading the other two
books in this series.

I really liked this book, so I am awarding it 4****

I read this book for my "Series Reading Challenge" my "Cozies Reading Challenge" my "TBR Mount Reading Challenge" and "New Authors Reading Challenge."

I own this book, it is part of my personal library.

Hi Gigi Ann! I attempted to comment on your Bluebell Books Short Story slam for week 18, but it says I haven't been invited. Is there something I should do for an invite? Would really like to read it!

Okay, maybe I'm a bit blind, but what was the name of this book? I think I'd really like to read it. It sounds like a fun mystery. Would appreciate the title, or was it there already? LOL!

Gigi Ann,
Thank you so much for the great review. I'm so delighted that you enjoyed BUNDLE OF TROUBLE. Hope you enjoy MOTHERHOOD IS MURDER and FORMULA FOR MURDER just as much.
Warm regards,
Diana Orgain

"What is a cozy Mystery?"

A cozy mystery contains no explicit sex and contains no excessive gore or violence. It usually takes place in a close-knit setting with a limited group of suspects. The cozy is light-heart in tone rather than heavy. The main focus of the book is a puzzle and always centers around "whodunit."
