"The Grand Finale" Review

"The Grand Finale" by Janet Evanovich, is the story of a young woman who owns the Pizza Place. Delivering a pizza one evening she ended up falling out of a tree, trying to rescue a kitten, onto a pizza, and into love.

Okay, so maybe the road to true love isn't all that easy. Truth is, she ruins the pizza, loses three cars, adopts three little old ladies, is held at gunpoint, and is caught ogling a gorgeous guy. Eventually they make some really great pizza together.

I started reading Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series and noticed some of her older novels, (before Plum) were being re-released. This was one of those books.

This book was a quick read, and was fun and cute. It is a blend of funny and sweet. It has slapstick humor and sweet romance in the Evanovich style.

For my last book of the Read-A-Thon this week I wanted a light, fluffy, fun book to read. This book filled the bill. This was a fun book to read, therefore, I am awarding it 3***

"What is a cozy Mystery?"

A cozy mystery contains no explicit sex and contains no excessive gore or violence. It usually takes place in a close-knit setting with a limited group of suspects. The cozy is light-heart in tone rather than heavy. The main focus of the book is a puzzle and always centers around "whodunit."
