"Motherhood is MURDER" Review

Posted by Gigi Ann at 3:09 PM
"Motherhood is MURDER," by Diana Orgain, is a story about a first time mom, Kate Connolly. She is also trying to teach herself to be a private investigator with the help of a book she checked out of the library..."The Complete Idiot's Guide to Private Investigation."

Invited out for a dinner cruise, she and hubby leave the baby with the Grandmother, and are looking forward to spending a grown-up evening out with friends. A night of some fine dining on a dinner cruise on the San Francisco Bay.

However, one of the women in the group takes a fatal spill down a staircase on the cruise, the police department crashes the party. Suddenly...every guest is a suspect. Kate's on deck to solve the mystery, however, a killer's determined to try and stop her investigation.

As I started reading this book I wondered, "Will I like it as much as the first book in the series, "Bundle of Trouble?"

Yes I did! As I was reading the book it brought back memories of when I was a young first time mother, with it's funny scenes making me giggle. Especially, the girdle scene in the lawyer's office...

As I read mysteries I always try to figure out who is guilty as I read along. However, each time I thought I had the guilty person figured out, before I knew it someone else looked just as guilty.

Again, all I can say is Ms. Orgain wrote another fun, delightful, and sometimes suspenseful mystery, that, I for one enjoyed. I really liked it and I am awarding it 4****.

I read this book for my...
"Finishing Series Reading Challenge"
"Cozies Reading Challenge"
"Mount TBR Reading Challenge."

I own this book and it is part of my personal library.
